Recently, the final of the 2026 "Data Factor ×" Competition (Zhejiang Regional Round) concluded successfully. Guided by the National Data Administration, the event is co-hosted by over 20 bodies including the Zhejiang Provincial Data Administration, the Cyberspace Affairs Office of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission. It is a major competition focused on developing, utilizing and unlocking the value of data factors.

Drawing on its University Industry Integration Innovation Center and University Science Park, Wenzhou Medical University leverages data factors and AI technologies to boost industry-education integration innovation. Partnering with institutions such as the Zhejiang Provincial Educational Technology Center and Hangzhou Technology Transfer Center, the university submitted the project entitled Wise Large Model Empowers the Innovative Development of Industry-Education Integration. Boasting an innovative data application framework, robust AI backing and tangible practical results, the project stood out from many entries and won the Second Prize in the Zhejiang regional final.
In recent years, the university has advanced industry-university-research collaboration and explored new paths for the integrated development of education, technology and talent. It has been named one of the first provincial Science-Education Integration Colleges and a pilot site for the provincial integrated reform of education, science and talent. Selected in Zhejiang’s first cohort of pilot institutions for scientific and technological achievement empowerment reform, the university promotes deep integration of education, talent, innovation and industrial chains, laying a firm groundwork for technology transfer and industry-education innovation.

The awarded "Wise Large Model" project is built on a compliant authorized public data operation system. Powered by AI large models, it aggregates multi-department government data. Catering to industry-education integration and technology transfer needs, it constructs three digital profiles for experts, research outputs and corporate development, shifting data resources from simple aggregation to value unlocking.
Deep integration of large-model capabilities and data factors enables precise matching between university research outputs, expert resources and corporate innovation needs. To date, the project has facilitated the conversion of over 1,000 research results, created benchmark patent transfer cases valued at 71 million yuan, and set up five provincial industry-education integration innovation centers. Its achievements were displayed at the 2026 World Digital Education Conference. The project has developed a standardized, replicable and scalable digital service model, providing a new practical path for industry-education integration innovation.
This award affirms the university’s efforts to unlock data factor value and apply large models to empower industry-education integration. It showcases our progress in educational digitalization, technology commercialization and innovative AI applications.
Moving ahead, the university will build on its existing achievements to iterate and upgrade the "Wise Large Model" platform, expand application scenarios for authorized public data operation, and refine the service system for technology commercialization. It will further integrate AI with education, technology and talent initiatives, fully unleash the multiplier effect of data factors, and contribute academic wisdom to high-quality educational digitalization and industry-education integration across Zhejiang Province.
