On June 5th, Kong Linjun, Director of the Digitalization Office of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, along with Zhu Zhimou, Deputy Director of the Digitalization and Intelligent Computing Service Center of Shaoxing University of Technology, and Peng Xi, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Region, CERNET Corporation, visited the Information Technology Center of our university.Wang Chaojie, the director of the Information Technology Center of our school, and the heads of relevant departments warmly received them and had an in-depth discussion on the achievements of the school's informatization development and its future plans.

At the symposium, Director Wang Chaojie extended a warm welcome to the visiting group from the two universities and CERNET Corporation. He focused on introducing the overall achievements of the university’s informatization construction, and shared typical cases concerning core topics including the special construction of data governance, development of the data security protection system, as well as the construction ideas and application practices of artificial intelligence empowering education. Director Wang noted that the university is actively exploring innovative applications of artificial intelligence in medical education to advance the implementation of smart teaching scenarios and build a new "Intelligence +" education ecosystem. He also exchanged views with the visitors on the formulation ideas, development goals and key construction directions of the university’s 15th Five-Year Plan for informatization.

Director Kong Linjun expressed her gratitude to the Information Technology Center for the warm reception and spoke highly of the university’s achievements in informatization construction. She stated that Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics also attaches great importance to data governance and security. The exploration and practice of Wenzhou Medical University in building the data security protection system offer valuable references. Director Kong Linjun pointed out that artificial intelligence technology is profoundly transforming the landscape of higher education. How to deeply integrate AI technology with education and teaching is an important issue that all universities need to consider jointly.

After the symposium, the visiting group toured the Human Science Museum of Wenzhou Medical University to gain an in-depth understanding of the university’s distinctive achievements in medical education and science popularization.

This research and exchange event featured rich content and in-depth discussions. It helped strengthen mutual understanding among the three institutions regarding informatization construction, and laid a solid foundation for further cooperation in data governance, security assurance and artificial intelligence application. Taking this exchange as an opportunity, the Information Technology Center of Wenzhou Medical University will continue to draw on the advanced experience of peer universities and jointly explore innovative pathways for the development of smart education in higher education.
