The Publicity Department and IT Center Conduct Business Exchange
  

To further implement the responsibility system for online ideological work and strengthen the collaborative governance and security assurance of the campus online content ecosystem, a working exchange meeting was held between the Publicity Department (Teachers' Work Department, News Center) of the University Party Committee and the Information Technology Center on the morning of December 10. The meeting was attended by a delegation led by Ye Xiaoli, Deputy Head of the Publicity Department (Teachers' Work Department) of the University Party Committee and Director of the News Center, and was chaired by Wang Chaojie, Director of the Information Technology Center.



At the start of the meeting, Director Wang Chaojie warmly welcomed the delegation from the Publicity Department. Both sides introduced their respective attendees and unanimously acknowledged the great significance of this cross - departmental professional exchange.


The meeting recognized that as the construction of the digital campus continues to progress, the integration of ideological and cultural publicity work with information technology has become increasingly close. Establishing a regular mechanism for communication and professional collaboration is crucial for ensuring the security of online ideological work on campus and cultivating a healthy online environment.


During the thematic exchange session, the two sides conducted in - depth discussions centered around the collaborative regulation of the campus online content ecosystem. Director Wang Chaojie emphasized that cyber security is the lifeline of campus informatization.


At present, the Information Technology Center is vigorously promoting the optimization and upgrading of the campus network infrastructure. Meanwhile, it is comprehensively strengthening technical safeguards as well as monitoring and early - warning mechanisms. These efforts are aimed at effectively ensuring cyber security and maintaining a healthy, clean, and stable campus cyberspace.



Subsequently, Pan Wenbiao from the Network Information Department of the Information Technology Center introduced the management regulations for the university's website cluster, website security protection measures, and website access data analysis, proposing a feasible pathway for collaborative content security management from a technical perspective.


Deputy Minister Ye Xiaoli stated that the University News Center will further strengthen cooperation with the Information Technology Center, focusing on cyber security. On one hand, the two sides will establish a regular communication and risk assessment mechanism, share information, conduct joint risk evaluations, and address potential risks in a timely manner. On the other hand, they will jointly enhance cyber security publicity and education for faculty and students by co-developing educational content, innovating outreach platforms, and effectively improving the appeal and impact of such initiatives.



This meeting has effectively promoted mutual understanding and operational synergy between the two departments, marking a substantial step forward in their joint governance of the campus cyberspace.


Going forward, both departments will seize this exchange as an opportunity to further establish and improve collaborative mechanisms in areas such as information sharing, coordinated disposure and  joint deliberation and evaluation. Together, they will strive to build an efficient, coordinated, secure, and manageable governance system for campus online content, strengthen the defense line for online ideological work, and provide solid security assurance and public - opinion support for the university's high - quality development.
