The Information Technology Center ensures a smooth start to the semester. On the first day of school, school leaders lead an inspection of teaching operations.

On March 2, the first day of the new semester, Jin Huanmin, Secretary of the University Party Committee, and Vice Presidents Zhu Xuebo, Wu Wencan, along with other university leaders, led separate teams to the frontline of teaching. They conducted on-site inspections of classroom teaching operations, and carried out full-coverage "cloud inspections" across the three campuses and 15 clinical teaching bases via the intelligent class inspection system. Through an online-offline integrated supervision closed loop, they have consolidated the foundation of teaching quality and upheld the achievements of the undergraduate education and teaching assessment and evaluation.

In the morning, the university leaders and their entourage visited the classrooms to check on the attendance of teachers and students, the atmosphere of classroom interaction, and the operation of teaching facilities. After the on-site visits, Secretary Jin Huanmin and his team used the intelligent class inspection system to view real-time classroom situations of the three campuses (Chashan, Xueyuan Road, Binhai) and various clinical teaching bases, conducting all-round supervision on teaching quality and classroom order.

To date, the university has completed recording and broadcasting construction in 255 classrooms across its three campuses, with a coverage rate of 90.11%. Fifteen clinical teaching bases in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Shaoxing, Taizhou, Lishui and other regions have all been equipped with recording and broadcasting classrooms and connected to the university’s supervision and teaching evaluation system. Equipped with functions such as live classroom broadcasting, online class inspection, and AI classroom analysis, the system fully meets the needs of digital teaching observation, evaluation and quality monitoring, adding "smart wings" to teaching supervision.

The smooth operation of teaching order cannot be achieved without solid technical support. To ensure the smooth progress of offline teaching in the new semester, the Information Technology Center planned ahead and took proactive actions. On February 28, Vice President Zhu Xuebo led a team to inspect the classrooms in advance and make work arrangements, sounding the "charge" for the back-to-school support.

The operation and maintenance staff of the center conducted a comprehensive inspection, maintenance and debugging of the recording and broadcasting systems, multimedia equipment, projectors, audio systems, network environment and other facilities in all classrooms across the university. On the first day of the semester, the Information Technology Center assigned dedicated staff to be on duty in each teaching building, responding promptly to the equipment needs of teachers and students and quickly resolving unexpected technical issues. With efficient services, it safeguarded the teaching order, allowing teachers to teach without worries and students to study with peace of mind.

New semester, new mission, new achievements. The Information Technology Center will continue to improve the recording and inspection system, increase the coverage of recording classrooms, and promote the connection of more clinical teaching bases to the unified management platform. It will empower high-quality teaching development through digitalization and inject strong impetus into the university’s "Double First-Class" initiative.
