The IT Center Organized Project Review for WMU Informatization Construction Projects

In order to scientifically plan and efficiently promote the school's informatization construction and empower the high-quality development of the school's undertakings with digitalization, the Information Technology Center organized a project review meeting for the second half of 2025 school informatization construction projects on November 12. The meeting specially invited five senior experts to form a review panel to conduct professional reviews of the submitted projects: Liu Mingzhe, Dean of the School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence of Wenzhou University of Technology; Huang Hui, Vice Dean of the School of Computer and Artificial Intelligence of Wenzhou University; Wei Da, Director of the Comprehensive Coordination Department of Wenzhou Data Security Hub Management and Service Center; Xu Chuang, Director of the Network Information and Big Data Center of Zhejiang Dongfang Polytechnic; and Wu Jingao (online), an official of Zhejiang Provincial Education Technology Center.

At the beginning of the meeting, Wang Chaojie, Director of the Information Technology Center, delivered a welcome speech and briefly introduced the application background and overall situation of this batch of informatization construction projects, emphasizing the importance of project construction for improving the school's digital governance and service capabilities. Following joint recommendation by the participating experts, a group leader was appointed for the expert panel, and subsequent review sessions will be chaired by the group leader.

In the project reporting stage, the five project leaders who applied for the project gave a detailed explanation one by one. The project covers infrastructure upgrades such as network storage and core equipment, as well as exploration of cutting-edge fields such as AI intelligent agent platforms. After the report is completed, the review experts closely examine key dimensions such as project necessity, technical feasibility, and budget rationality, and propose optimization suggestions. Each project leader responded and answered one by one. After centralized evaluation by the expert group, a unified review opinion was finally formed, providing the core basis for project decision-making.

This review has laid a solid foundation for the school's new round of informatization construction. The orderly implementation of the project will effectively strengthen the school's digital infrastructure, empower high-quality development of education and teaching with informatization, and provide solid support for the construction of "Double First-Class" universities.
